this form of counseling relationship acknowledges the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit to support your holistic flourishing, whether you revere god, allah, tao, great mystery, gender variant ancestors, or another or neither as higher power. through deep listening, accompaniment, and holding a reverent space you will have the opportunity to discern, grieve, process, and empower your authentic self to blossom.

being trans and/or queer in many religious or familial homes unfortunately means absorbing experiences of transphobia, transmisogyny, spiritual abuse and manipulation, can warp perceptions of belonging and shame, and might leave us with unresolved resentment creating spiritual blockages or apathy. these harmful, untrue, and coercive narratives can plant themselves in us without our consent but we have the power to reclaim space and time to prioritize its unrooting and germinate new seeds.
my approach
together we’d meet virtually once or twice a month for an hour and develop somatic, meditative, and creative approaches that nurture your spiritual goals.
I specialize in: religious trauma, gender dysphoria/euphoria, lgbtqia+ identities, sexual trauma, healing shame, poly/non-monogamy, kink, ritual making, grief & mourning, empire-critical biblical interpretation, healing desire, creative process, guiding meditation, and resisting state violence through collective *mindbodyspiritlandcommunity* liberation
sliding scale & donations
sliding scale spiritual direction sessions are supported through sales from the shop and from donations. i offer sliding scale pricing for commissions and i am down for trades on commissions and sessions, just email me and we will make it happen :)
if you come from wealth and are sustainably employed consider $70/hr my base rate.
hi, i’m oran
i graduated from union theological seminary in the city of new york in 2021 with a masters of divinity emphasizing mindbodyspirit and community care for trans and queer people.
this website exists to offer more accessible resources and holistic care options for trans and gender non-conforming people so that we can work to heal our relationships with ourselves, those that matter, this planet and her ecosystems, our current or former religious tradition/s, and the ongoing impact they may have in our flourishing. i wanted to create the resources i desperately needed for myself but had difficulty accessing or couldn’t find.
in addition to offering spiritual companionship and creations from the shop, i created a crowd-sharing document to share and connect with other tgnc support that exists.
my creative practice is all about reincarnating, reclaiming, and giving new life to the things we forget, discard, or no longer serve us; dreaming of what new world could be created with the current materials. by using donated and previously loved materials all the way down to the “scraps” (check out knotted coasters in the archive), i aim to honor and find purpose for every fiber. this practice transitions garments with us as we change and evolve while simultaneously transforming our relationship with waste and worthiness.
